Questions about a guide, a correction, or a transfer problem our troubleshooting pages did not solve — write to us. APKPod is a small independent site, and reader reports are genuinely how many of our fixes get found: an error message that appears on one router model or one Android TV build is exactly the sort of thing we cannot see from our own lab.

What to Include in a Support Message

The single most useful thing you can send is detail. “SMB does not work” takes a week of back-and-forth; the list below usually gets an answer in one reply.

  • Phone or TV model — for example “Pixel 8” or “Mi TV Stick 4K”, not just “Android”.
  • Android version — found under Settings → About, including the manufacturer’s skin if you know it (One UI, MIUI, ColorOS).
  • X-plore version — shown at the bottom of X-plore’s settings or in the Play Store listing under “About this app”.
  • The protocol involved — SMB/LAN, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Wi-Fi server, or a named cloud service, and what is on the other side (Windows PC, NAS, router USB drive, another phone).
  • Router model — for any network problem, plus which band the phone was on (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) if you know.
  • The exact error text — quote the message word for word, or attach a screenshot with any passwords or personal file names covered. Error strings are searchable in a way descriptions are not.
  • What you already tried — even one line saves us suggesting it again.

Please do not send passwords, cloud account credentials, or files containing personal data. We never need them to diagnose a connection problem, and you should not send them to any support address, ours included.

Corrections and Guide Requests

Spotted a menu name that changed in a recent X-plore update, or a step that behaves differently on your device? Corrections go to the same address with the guide’s title in the subject line. Requests for new topics are welcome too — tell us the setup you are trying to achieve, not just the feature name, and we will fold the most-asked setups into our writing queue.
