Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information APKPod.com collects when you visit the site, how that information is used, and the choices you have. APKPod is a content website: we publish guides and run a contact form. We do not operate user accounts, we do not sell anything, and we never ask for — and you should never send us — passwords, banking details, or cloud storage credentials.
Information We Collect
Log files
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs for each request: IP address, browser type and version, the page requested, referring page, and the date and time of the visit. These logs are used to operate the site, diagnose errors and abuse, and understand aggregate traffic patterns. They are not combined with information from other sources to identify individual visitors.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which guides are useful. Analytics data is aggregated — pages viewed, approximate country, device class — and is used only to decide what to write and fix. We do not build advertising profiles of our own, and we do not attempt to track individual readers across the web.
Contact data
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use that information solely to respond to you. Support correspondence is deleted once the matter is resolved and any guide correction arising from it has been made; we do not add support contacts to mailing lists, because we do not run one.
Cookies and Advertising
APKPod displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Advertising cookies are set by the advertising vendor, not by APKPod directly; our own use of cookies is limited to what the site and its analytics need to function.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so will not break this site — the guides remain fully readable — though ads may become less relevant and some embedded features may behave differently.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because our data holdings are minimal — server logs and any email you sent us — most requests concern correspondence, and we will act on them within the period the GDPR requires. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the AdSense advertising described above, which you can opt out of as described. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below.
Children’s Privacy
APKPod is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Third-Party Services We Rely On
Running a website involves a small number of service providers who process limited data on our behalf: our hosting provider (which generates the server logs described above), our analytics provider (which receives page-view data), and Google AdSense (which serves advertising and sets the advertising cookies described in the previous section). Each provider handles data under its own published privacy terms. We do not operate social-media trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or data-broker integrations, and we do not embed third-party comment systems or login buttons that would report your visit to other networks.
Links in our guides lead to external sites — most often the official Google Play Store and vendor documentation. Once you follow such a link, the destination site’s privacy policy governs what it collects; we cannot control, and are not responsible for, the practices of external sites, and we encourage you to read their policies if a destination asks you for anything beyond reading.
Do Not Track and Automated Signals
Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of personalised advertising for that browser to the extent our advertising configuration supports it, consistent with our CCPA/CPRA commitments above. You do not need to contact us to exercise that choice; the signal itself is the request.
Data Retention and Security
Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations, then rotated out. Email correspondence is retained only as described above. We use HTTPS across the whole site and keep the software behind it updated. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit our exposure by collecting as little as we reasonably can in the first place.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our tools or obligations change. The effective date at the top will move with any revision, and significant changes will be noted on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
