Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of APKPod.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the site.
Educational Purpose
Everything published on APKPod is educational documentation: guides, explanations and troubleshooting procedures for file management and network storage on Android, written around the X-plore File Manager application. The content is provided to help you operate your own devices and your own network. Nothing here is professional IT consulting, and nothing creates a support relationship between you and APKPod — our answers to emails are best-effort help from fellow users, not a service commitment.
No Warranty
The site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. File management is destructive by nature: a wrong deletion, a mis-typed network path, or a permission change can lose data, and outcomes vary with your device model, Android version, app version, router, firmware and network conditions — variables we cannot control or fully test. We work to keep guides accurate and tested, but we do not warrant that any procedure will work on your equipment, that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that files or configurations produced by following a guide will be recoverable. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose before following a guide that touches it.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use APKPod lawfully. In particular, you must not:
- Use our guides to access computers, accounts, networks or files you are not authorised to access.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to this website or its hosting infrastructure.
- Republish substantial portions of our content as your own work, or scrape the site in a way that burdens it.
- Use the site to distribute malware or to facilitate infringement of anyone’s rights.
Network features discussed here — FTP servers, SMB shares, port forwarding — are dual-use tools. Our guides describe them for use on networks you own or administer. The responsibility for how you apply them is yours.
Intellectual Property
The text, structure and original graphics of APKPod are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced beyond fair-use quotation with attribution. Third-party names and marks — including X-plore and Lonely Cat Games, Android and Google Play — are the property of their respective owners, are used here for identification and commentary only, and imply no endorsement. If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, see the DMCA procedure in our Disclaimer.
External Links
Our guides link to external resources such as the official Google Play Store listing and vendor documentation. We do not control external sites, are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is a reference, not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, APKPod and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including loss of data, loss of access to accounts or devices, or business interruption — arising from your use of the site or reliance on its guides, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent the law allows.
Accounts and Submissions
APKPod does not offer user accounts, comments accounts, or upload facilities, and nothing you send us by email becomes content we are obliged to publish. If you send a correction, screenshot or procedure that we incorporate into a guide, you grant us permission to use it for that purpose; we will not publish your email address or identifying details alongside it. Do not send us files containing personal data belonging to anyone else, and never send passwords or account credentials — we will delete unsolicited credentials unread where possible and they will never be used to access any account.
Governing Law and Severability
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes arising from use of the site will be resolved in the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be read down to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it on any other.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies from the moment it is posted, and your continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be summarised on this page.
